Reserving Space @ e5
encuentro 5 is one of many progressive venues for the Boston-area social justice and social change community. It offers an event space, offices, and a number of shared resources. [SCROLL DOWN FOR FORM]
Other important venues include the Community Church of Boston, the Democracy Center, Lucy Parsons Center, the Non Profit Center Boston, and Spontaneous Celebrations (click here for a map). Many student and campus organizations often have access to venues on their respective campuses.
If you would like to reserve a space for a meeting and/or event, please consult the e5 calendar and find an available date. PLEASE NOTE: A RESERVATION DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOUR EVENT IS CONFIRMED. YOU MUST RECEIVE AN EMAIL RESPONSE FROM US TO CONFIRM THE EVENT. Generally, e5 can accommodate a MAX. of 2 meetings/events for any time slot. There are two meeting spaces: the Main Event Hall for meetings/events of 10 people or more and the Crazy Horse Conference Room that holds 8-10 people. Please carefully read our guidelines and then fill out the form below.
COSTS: We ask organizations to help cover the costs of hosting events and use $1/person based on the project total attendance (with a minimum fee of $30 per 3-hour block of time). For fund raising events, we suggest a larger donation - $90 or 15% of the gross (whichever is higher). Please use these guidelines to calculate the amount for the donation field below. We also offer use of equipment including a digital projector, sound system, etc. Please see below. Donations for usage of the space can be left in an envelope in the form of cash or check (made out to Mass. Global Action) and slipped into the Donations Box located beside the entrance door.
If your organization is interested in joining encuentro5's group of resident organizations, please see the resident organizations' questionnaire.
